Always striving to be on the cutting edge of new technology, Wise Owl Animal Hospital is one of the first veterinary clinics in the world to house a Kacey multifunction automated slide stainer, Kacey diagnostics stealth 3 in 1 chemistry analyzer and Kacey poison test station from Kacey Diagnostics. These machines and others are arriving right as they are unveiled to the veterinary world.
The "Stealth" will cover Urinalysis, Toxicology and a variety of key Chemistries while the automated slide stainer is used for Hematology, Cytology, Dermatology, Fecal and Gram Staining. With the Kacey poison test station, Wise Owl Animal Hospital is the only clinic in Guam where we can test if your pet has gotten into anti-freeze, rat poison or inecticides/pesticides. These newly released mahines provide us cutting-edge diagnostic tools to better care for your pet.

Hip Dysplasia Testing:
Hip dysplasia is a genetic disease that can occur in cats and dogs. Many animals are born with normal hips but may develop hip dysplasia as they age. Hip dysplasia is an abnormal formation of the hip socket. The loosening of muscles, ligaments and connective tissues that hold the hip joint and socket in place cause the bones to lose proper contact and change the shape of the bone surface. If untreated, it can lead to arthritis in the joints and even lameness. Hip dysplasia may or not be bilateral (affecting the right and/or left hip).

The Wise Owl staff, friends, and family had a hoot at our first Wise Owl Bully Classic. Wise Owl Animal Hospital has been the main sponsor of Bully Bash dog shows on island for many years. We hope you enjoyed the entertainment, dogs, judges, and experience.
