'Walk by faith, not by sight.'
I am interning at Wise Owl Animal Hospital because it is a great opportunity to get to work in a fast moving clinic. When I brought my youngest dog to this clinic they used Laser Therapy on his ruptured discs. I found it amazing the new technologies out there to heal and help animals. I have always had an interest in helping animals since I was a little kid.
I look forward to working with individuals who have been working in this field for a long time and learning everything that I can from them. I know that Wise Owl Animal Hospital has all the new techniques out there to help animals. I hope to learn as many of the new techniques out there that I can so I can become a great veterinary technician. I am excited to do this internship with Wise Owl Animal Hospital.

I am currently a junior majoring in Animal Science. I have been studying at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, but am currently in a student exchange program that allows me to study for a semester at UOG. My goal is to become a veterinarian, and I will be applying to veterinary schools this upcoming summer. I'm eager to get more experience with companion animal care while I am on the island which is what brought me to Wise Owl Animal Hospital. I'm very excited to work with and learn from the staff here!
Back home I have one dog, a 10-year-old toy poodle named Mimi, and a 2-year- old beta fish named Boron. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, playing disc golf, and going to the beach.
